Beacon Behavior Center provides direct special education services for students with significant challenges in the areas of social, emotional, and behavior skills. These challenges limit the students’ access to general education environments with same-aged peers at their home district.
Students are referred to Beacon Behavior Center by the member school district’s special education director. After the referral is reviewed and approved by members of the Beacon Board of Directors, the student’s IEP team will meet to consider a change of placement for the student.
